NOVEMBER!

Thinking out loud, i whispered "oh yeah, its less than two months to the NEW YEAR". Within me, am over whelmed with joy, knowing how tough the journey this year has been. Coming this far, can only be by GOD's grace and His mercies.

My prayers for the remaining 55 days in 2017 to everyone is that, the mercy of God will overflow into your life, your home. Through out the remaining weeks, your mornings will be good, your afternoons will be great, your evenings will be glorious and your nights will be peaceful in Jesus name.

The goodness and mercy that has no bound which cometh from above will encompass you.

The Lord will open the heavens each day to water your ground, keep you evergreen, blooming and flourishing in his fruitfulness. To everyone going through tough and challenging trials, He will banish the sorrows and soon you have a good laugh and a course to rejoice and share your testimony.

By His grace in the days ahead, no weeping, no mourning, no regrets, no lamentations, no untimely deaths and no loss in your household.

Angels of blessings will visit you each of the 55 days with packages of miracles, breakthrough, signs and wonders. They will grant you unceasing celebrations and testimonies🙏🙏🙏.

Its All About Persistence!

Its been like forever around here. No i did'nt ignore the blog, nor was it forgotten that i have one. But life sometimes has its way of taking its toll on us all. Above all, am happy to say i conquered and much happier to find my writting pen again. I hope you enjoy this little pieces i'd put together while away.

Be persistent my friends, cos life is about persistence.

As my friend was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not. My friend saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

"Well," he said, "when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it's enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free." My friend was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? So make an attempt to grow further.... Why shouldn't we try it again?

I MISS FALLING IN LOVE

I miss "falling" in love. The blood rush, the racing heart-beat, butterflies on a wild roller-coaster in your belly. Double checking your makeup is on point. Having the right underwear on at all times (just in case;). Having "your"song. Mushy love songs on replay... 

Unexplained smiles; smiling at your phone, smiling at the Laptop, smiling absently at someone random (but you know the smile isn't meant for them) reminiscent giggles, giving him a special pet name... 

Late night chatting, double checking and rewording your messages, double checking it delivered, then monitoring how many seconds it takes for a reply to come in. Laughing out loud in bed to his reply...

Practicing sexy stripper dance moves in front of the mirror imagining he's your audience. Taking forever to pick out an outfit because you are dressing up for only him. Asking him what hair style to do so he knows you look this good 'FOR HIM'... 

Actually holding hands when you walking the shortest distance because it just comes naturally, letting him open doors for you, tell you what to do, seeking his opinion, his advice. Holding hands and stealing kisses in the cinema through the entire movie. Playing footsie under the table at restaurants...

Gazing at his lips when talking, shape of his eyebrows, his nose, cheeks, skin, gazing deep into eyes. Listening to his laugh, familiarizing yourself with his unique scent, knowing his favorite cologne.  Watching him sleep, smelling him. Praying for him... 

I miss falling in love.

Peeling my once flawless exterior
